Over one third of Americans, 38 percent, say that they attend religious services once a week. A larger percentage of the population of the southern states attend religious services than those in the north. In 2011, it was reported that eight out of the ten most religious U.S. states are in the South. The state of Mississippi is considered to be the most religious. According to one study, 59 percent of its residents consider themselves to be “very religious.”

With millions of Americans attending services every week, there must be church pews for sale somewhere. When you think about it, all those people attending all those services have to sit down some time. There are companies that specialize in the designing and manufacturing of church furniture and church steeples.

Church pews for sale for use in home decorating have become very popular. Antique church pews are often used in private homes for bench seating in dining rooms or kitchens. They are also commonly found in entryways.

There are a number of reasons that people look for church pews for sale for the home. They are high quality, and are durable. They are decorative, and can add some sophistication as well as extra seating space. Also, they can give people a sense of having a small part of the church with them in their homes. Americans of all major faiths who are very religious have been found to be more well adjusted, and generally have a higher sense of wellbeing than others who are either not religious or are moderately religious.
